Commissioned Artwork Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in commissioning a custom painting! I accept commissions based on my areas of expertise, Acrylic & Charcoal. The minimum size for commissioned work is A4.
Investment & Customization
Commissioned artworks require additional time, planning, and customisation, so they are priced higher than my existing paintings.
Pricing depends on:
- Size of the artwork
- Complexity of the subject or composition
- Oversized pieces, which may require speciality equipment, custom fabrication, or professional art handlers during shipping
The Process
- After we discuss your idea and agree on the direction of the artwork, I require a 50% deposit to begin. This deposit is processed through a secure email invoice.
- If multiple photos or concepts are involved, I may prepare a scale sketch beforehand so you can visualize the composition.
- Once the contract is approved and the deposit is made, I begin the painting.
- When the artwork is complete to my satisfaction, I will send you a preview photo to ensure you’re happy with the final result.
Post approval I will
- Apply 2–3 layers of protective varnish
- Sign the back of the artwork
- Install hanging hardware
- Securely mount the frame, if requested
- After this, the remaining 50% balance is due, followed by shipping, delivery, or pick-up.
Packaging & Delivery
Unframed artworks
- Carefully rolled
- Packed in thick, sturdy mailing tubes
- Protected with multiple layers to prevent creasing or damage
Framed artworks
- Wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap
- Protected with corner guards
- Secured inside reinforced cardboard packaging
Shipping & Delivery
Domestic Shipping (India):
- Shipped via trusted courier partners
- Delivery timeline: 4–9 working days (depending on location)
International Shipping:
- Charges are calculated separately based on country and total weight
- Estimated delivery: 10–20 days, subject to customs clearance
Tracking details will be shared once your artwork is shipped.
Receiving Your Artwork
- Open packages carefully using a blunt tool to avoid accidental damage
- Allow the artwork to settle after unpacking, especially framed pieces
- For any transit-related issues, contact me with photos immediately
