About Me
Kaasvi Jain, Mixed Media Artist
Kaasvi Jain was born in New Delhi in 1998, in a world that wasn’t built for her frame but could never contain her spirit. Living with dwarfism, she turned challenges into catalysts, transforming moments of silence into works of art that speak louder than words. From childhood sketches to major exhibitions, Kaasvi has built a career rooted in resilience, empathy, and fearless creativity. Her canvases are more than compositions; they’re emotional landscapes stitched together with memory and meaning. Educated at the Delhi College of Art, Jesus and Mary College (University of Delhi), and Pearl Academy with a Master’s in Textile Design, Kaasvi honed her craft into a signature voice. Her work has graced the India Art Festival 2023, the Mumbai Art Festival 2024, the Awadh Art Festival, and pages of HT City, Colour Canvas, and The Indian Contemporary Art Journal.
But her art extends beyond galleries. Kaasvi is an advocate for accessibility and inclusion in the arts, proving that creativity is a bridge, not a barrier. Her work invites viewers to see beyond labels, beyond appearances, into a realm where every detail tells a story of courage and hope.
The Grid of Memory and Meaning
Kaasvi’s signature style, Checkered Emotions, is the heartbeat of her journey as an artist. Born from experimentation, these striking grids carry rhythm, balance, and vulnerability. Each square is a memory. Each intersection is a pause.
The checkered works are not just design; they are language. They weave together the chaos and calm of life, reflecting Kaasvi’s own story of navigating boundaries and finding harmony within them. In these works, stillness meets movement, and imperfection becomes a deliberate choice.
Every piece is a mirror: of resilience, of empathy, and of her unflinching voice as an artist.
Kaasvi's Journey: Turning Struggles Into Stunning Art
Kaasvi's work reflects her belief that art rises beyond physical limitations, becoming a universal language that speaks to the heart. Her journey proves that creativity has no bounds—and that every challenge can become a new space for expression.
A Visual Autobiography
A deeply personal timeline of emotions, evolution, and visual identity. Kaasvi’s art is not just a practice; it’s a philosophy. Her journey proves that creativity can transcend physicality, and art can speak where words falter. Through Checkered Emotions, she invites viewers to step closer, to feel, to reflect, and to see the extraordinary beauty of imperfection
